If a yacht struck a navigational mark and was holed, there might be only 30 seconds before the boat is underwater, how long did your abandonment drill take ? How could it be improved ? Did each member of the crew know how to fit a harness, have a harness already adjusted to fit them, know where the flare pack/grab bag/mobile VHF are stored ? By assigning specific tasks to particular individuals you should be able to reduce the time taken up by a repeat abandonment drill.
